Resilience

The Resilience series is dedicated to stability and inner strength. In these works, natural stones are used as a meaningful element and a metaphor for durability. Minerals formed within the earth’s crust under pressure and over long periods of time become a visual image of endurance and solidity.

The painted surface and natural material are combined within a single composition. The stones register a state of strength accumulated through experience and prolonged exposure. The Resilience series speaks about the ability to maintain integrity and support in difficult conditions, where stability is formed gradually and requires time.
