Inflection

Inflection explores the relationship between bodily form and inner human experience through a reduced visual language of line, colour and space. The line acquires bodily presence while retaining its own expressive autonomy, and emptiness becomes part of the form.
Embodiment emerges as a unity of the visible and the experienced: outward form is inseparable from sensations and inner states that have no contours of their own. The series explores the possibility of conveying this connection through minimal visual means.
